Time to Swap?

Now the kids are back at school I thought I would try and kick Kiwi Swaps back into gear with a small swap.

I thought a good starter swap would be trims, ribbons and lace, but would love any and all feedback I can get as to what you would like to see.

First swap starts today

The first swap will be……you guessed it, handmade flowers.

6 handmade flowers of your choice. there are hundreds of tutorials on YouTube for flowers so try something new if you haven't made flowers before, their dead easy to make.

here are some I have made recently,

the first are pleated paper flowers that I cut using my silhouette and centred with brads or buttons.

and the second are made of fabric circles, using a candle to singe the edges and give them some shape, then stitched together with a bling button for the centre.

I will be posting the first swap in 4 days. here is how it will work. if you decide to take part in the swap, email me at kiwiswaps@gmail.com with your name and address and i will add you to the list and send you my address, then when you have the swap ready, send it with a stamped self address envelope to me and once I have them all I will send them out randomly. Please ensure that you put your name or screen name on the back of each item, i wouldn't want to send your own back to you.

You will have three weeks to get your swaps to me and I will send them out on the fourth week before posting the next swap.

So if your already a follower, get on to your friends…spread the news…lets get some gossip going Ladies lol…I know we arent as good as men at gossiping but I am pretty sure we can get the word out.

Until the 14th….get ready to SWAP

After joining and taking part in a few overseas swaps I felt it was time we Kiwi's had one of our own. If your interested in taking part in a swap please click the follow button and also leave me a comment as to what sort of swaps you would like to take part in.
